I moved from Villajoyosa in Spain to Canberra in Australia, first of all we videoed the Apartment and informed what I wanted moved, then after giving me a quote which I found to be what I expected. The packers arrived and in a day and a half had packed all my belongings and they went on their way. after weeks at sea they arrived 55 boxes and not a single breakage not even a chip in delicate items so YES I would recommend Global Relocation to anyone Keith Alcock

Conocí Global Relocation a través de la recomendación de un amigo que ya había hecho una mudanza desde Nueva York a España. En mi caso, también realicé el traslado de mis enseres personales con el mismo itinerario y la experiencia fue muy buena. Aunque mi carga no era muy grande y el precio me pareció algo elevado —principalmente porque se paga un mínimo de volumen y peso—, después de comparar varias opciones, esta fue la más competitiva dentro de ese rango. No encontré otra empresa que ofreciera mejores condiciones por un servicio similar. La comunicación fue clara desde el inicio y siempre estuvieron disponibles para responder a mis dudas, ya fuera por email, WhatsApp o teléfono, lo cual resultó muy cómodo. Además, los tiempos de envío se cumplieron tal como se habían estimado. El personal fue amable y atento durante todo el proceso. En definitiva, una empresa profesional y totalmente recomendable para este tipo de traslados internacionales

I recently relocated from Switzerland to Spain and used this moving service — everything went perfectly! Despite the fact that I could only book one week in advance (in mid-August, right in the middle of the holiday season), the team was incredibly flexible and accommodating. They took care of everything, including packing all my belongings, which made the move completely stress-free. All items arrived safely and on the exact planned dates — from delicate kitchenware to larger pieces like my mattress and sofa, everything was in perfect condition. The team also did a great job disassembling and reassembling my furniture at the destination. A special mention goes to Christopher, the manager, who was always available, patient, and super kind in clarifying every detail of the move. His support made a big difference. Overall, I’m very satisfied with the service and definitely recommend this company for anyone planning an international move.

These guys managed a move for us from Spain to the US. Reasonable price, fantastic service, great attention. Lots of things went wrong in the move (things in the US, nothing their fault) and they were there to help us out with everything along the way. Highly recommended. My husband found Global Relocation on Google when we were looking for a moving company for our move from Spain to Dubai, and we’re so glad he did. Everything went super smoothly. The man who brought and picked up the boxes was fantastic, fast, efficient, and even came on a Sunday. Communication with Yenny and Christopher was very good and they informed us of the whole process step by step. All our things arrived perfectly, not a single item damaged. It’s really nice to work with a company that’s this reliable. If we ever need to move again, we’ll definitely contact them!

These are the best movers I have ever hired. I moved countries 5 times and changed addresses countless times, so I have plenty of experience with movers. This time we moved from the Netherlands to Spain and requested quotes from multiple movers in both countries. Christopher was able to come up with the best price to quality offer: only our belongings were moved in their truck (Dutch movers offer only shared transportation), delivery time was 3 days and the service was excellent. We have never seen such a professional approach to packing!! Both removal and delivery days were a breeze, my marble table was taken special care of. 19 cubes of our belongings were delivered undamaged and right on time. The moving teams were super professional and friendly at the same time. We insured most of the large and expensive items and they were packed like I’ve never seen before. I am super happy with this company and I can definitely recommend it to anyone moving to and from Spain ❤️❤️❤️

The whole process was smooth , constant communication in Madrid and then whilst awaiting the shipment to arrive in Dubai. Everyone I dealt with in Madrid and in n Dubai were very good. I will definitely use Global again.

Trabajar con Christopher y Fouzia de Global Relocation fue un placer. Teniamos una mudanza que hacer del Lago de Como en Italia a Valencia y andábamos un poco perdidos de pasos a seguir. Hablamos con otras compañías pero al comunicarnos con Global, supimos que era la mejor opción. Además de profesionales, tienen certificaciones acreditadas que dieron tranquilidad y paz a un proceso estresante. Además de eso, fueron perfectamente puntuales en todo el proceso y la descarga fue facilísima con los empleados que Global nos proveyó. Sin pensarlo volveríamos a escogerlos para cualquier otra ocasión. Los recomiendamos 100%.

Una compañia fiable, profesional y amable. Me han ayudado con una mudanza de cajas desde Suecia a España y todo ha salido de forma perfecta. Las cajas han llegado en perfecto estado y la recogida y entrega han sido en día y hora previstos. Tanto el trato recibido en las comunicaciones mantenidas para la organización de la mudanza, como el trabajo de la mudanza en sí, han sido impecables. Muy recomedable.

CUIDADO! NO recomiendo a GLOBAL. Una pesadilla de 5 meses. Y ahora en Mayo, 3 meses dsp de recibir mis cosas, me llega una carta de la AGENCIA TRIBUTARIA, solicitándome documentos, pues "no disponen de prueba alguna de q mi mudanza haya salido efectivamente del territorio aduanero de la UE." Y Christopher se niega a dármelos. Recogieron mis cosas el 15/11/24. Christopher salía d vacaciones, y se quedo a cargo Andrea, dio un servicio deficiente, e info. tardía y poco clara. Mis cosas saldrían en el buque del 10/12/24, el día 9, le escribí a Andrea p confirmar q saldría, su respuesta fue “no lo sé”, al día siguiente, me dijo q no saldría xq salió “color naranja”, sin explicar lo q era; pero el buque si salió el 15/12/24, y jamás me dijeron xq mis cosas no salieron en ese buque. De vuelta Christopher, reagendada mi mudanza p el 17/12/24, lo mismo, pregunte si saldría, y no sabía, sus respuestas: “lo que pasa que las NAVIERAS no dan updates como nos gustaría…… por eso estamos un poco limitados.”, “Estoy presionando a la naviera, que son horribles para estas cosas.”, “El problema principal es que ninguna naviera responde a nada, no solo esta que además es HAPAG LLOYD bastante conocida…. Si no que todas funcionan igual, van actualizando la web y el cliente tiene que buscar la Info”.Al final, no salió el buque el día programado, salió 5 días después (22/12/24). Llegó el 03/01/25. La empresa encargada en destino x parte de Global, fue MYM, la peor empresa; irresponsables y desinteresados. Alexis (el responsable), dijo q tardaría de 7-9 días hábiles en liberarse, estuvo 3 semana parado en aduana, entiendo q son cosas q están fuera del alcance de Global; aunq  Christopher estuvo un poco pendiente, fui yo quien tuvo q presionar c/día xq nadie me decía nada.Cuando fue liberado, Alexis mandó un correo con un monto a pagar en USD, y al solicitar el soporte, dejó de contestar, paso días sin decir nada, después de 2 semanas, recibí la factura y el monto no correspondía con lo q él quería q pagara, y no daba explicación, él insistía en el mismo monto. Después de 2 semanas, y muchos correos, le dije q sabía lo q estaban haciendo; tomar el monto en MXN d la factura del agente aduanal y hacer la conversión a USD con un tipo de cambio preferencial p ellos (18.90MXN - 1USD), y ese era el monto q me pedían pagar si pagaba en USD pero si pagaba en MXN, ese monto en USD lo volvían a convertir a MXN tomando el tipo de cambio del día, y haciendo esto me estaba cobrando 20% más del monto de la factura. Christopher estuvo muy al margen, diciendo “no hay nada raro” (y si lo había), lo cual me pareció mal, pues el servicio lo contrate con él y este tipo d cosas no deberían pasar, d hecho cuando le escribía para una solución me decía esto: “ Pídeles el Back up del puerto”, “acabo de ver tu email, esperamos que te responda rápido. Si no haz un seguimiento de nuevo en un rato por favor.”, “Insiste en q quieres pagar pero la conversión real. Ya q quieres recibir tus cosas”; evitando la obvia situación, y no responsabilizándose. Después d mil correo y d evidenciarles, me respondió otra persona, y pagué lo q indicaba la factura, pero exigiéndome el pago desde una cuenta extranjera, al hacerlo así, mi banco cobró una comisión de 30USD, pues su banco es mexicano, y me cobraron su comisión x recibir mi pago. Recibí mi cosas después de 12 semana, cuando el compromiso fue de 5-9.La aseguradora es de Estados Unidos (xq según Christopher en España funcionan fatal). Te informa y aconseja sin conocimiento, dice q la lista del seguro es informativa y no suele pasar nada y hay q poner valores bajitos. Y si paso, abrieron mis cajas xq la descripción del parking list vs varias cajas no correspondía, y consecuencia de esto, rompieron y robaron cosas.La aseguradora lenta, espere 6 semanas. El total reclamado fue de 449€, hicieron una deducción de 250USD, cuando Christopher dijo q eso era a partir de los 1,000USD (mal x mi parte, x confiar y no pedir se especificará en la factura). Hacen el pago de una cuenta americana y tu banco cobra comisión, al final recibí 150€.

Not being fully fluent in Spanish, I was looking for a reliable international service to support my relocation project from Barcelona to Canada, and with whom I could easily comunicate in English. I was impressed by the professionalism of Christopher who accurately answered all my demanding questions, and kept following up in a timely manner through phone and emails. Quotation was precise and market competitive for a FAIM certified company. In the end my project was put on hold, but I will definitely revert to them whenever my need resumes.

I searched for many moving companies before I decided for Global Relocation, for moving from Barcelona to New Zealand, and I wasn't wrong. The price is reasonable and the staff is very professional, sending me updates as soon as there were any. They made the process super smooth and stress free. I have recently moved to Madrid from Chicago. It is a permanent work transfer and my company hired GCRelo to help me through the move. The procedures started last year but I encountered several unforeseen bureaucratic delays with my papers. I finally made it to Spain in the second week of August this year. To be honest, I don’t think I could have made it without the GCRelo team assigned to me. While the lawyers took care of my papers, GCRelo took care of all the other aspects of my life. They packed my whole US apartment with care, shipped it, and held the container for months until I arrived and found my new place. During that time, they found me several safe temporary accommodations close to my new office to choose from, managed to negotiate excellent terms. They helped me with opening a bank account, get registered for the census, get the public health card and with setting up the internet. They also helped me find my apartment. Their contractor gave me choices based on my preferences, visited the places with me. GCRelo weighted in on the location and conditions, and they made sure the apartment I chose was in the best condition. Once I moved in, they delivered all the content of my container from the US. Every item was accounted for, in the same condition as it was in the US. They helped me unpack the furniture and put it together for me. They also came back couple weeks later to pick up the remainder of the empty boxes. So, Christopher, Fouzia, Lucia and Virginia, Thank you from the bottom of my heart. My experience with Christopher was excellent. Communication was great, any issues or questions I had were solved promptly. The packers in Madrid were probably the best I have had, and I have moved a lot! Very thorough and careful. The only issue I had was with a small claim with insurance, because you know…insurance. But the moving company itself was great! I definitely recommend.

September 2024 Update: We recently moved again and chose Global once more, based on our fantastic experience with them for three previous moves. As before, this move was seamless. They meticulously packed everything, including a harp (which they placed in a special case for extra protection). The pickup was incredibly efficient, and we were completely unpacked at our destination within just 1.5 days! They even took care of all the rubbish and boxes, which is a huge help in Switzerland. Simply amazing service! We don't know when our next move will be, but we'll definitely use Global again. Not a single item was broken or scratched during our 1600km move – impressive! Previous review: Simply great, from the first day dealing with Chris till the end with a great team of nice packers, always in a good mood and being super efficient. we have done many moves and this was no doubt one of the best companies we had and the best we used in Spain

Do not be deceived by first impression. Although every item seemed impeccably wrapped, somehow the handling still resulted to several damages. Fine pieces of furniture were nipped on edges, crystals shattered, leg of antique armoire broken and sofa upholstery stained. They required every item insured to be listed which was cumbersome and to be able to insure a huge inventory was very expensive. You need friends to help check delivery against list as the staff move quickly and letting our guard down resulted to undelivered items discovered after with no recourse. We are very disappointed and would not recommend or ever use this company again.

When we were looking to move from Southern Spain to Malaysia a couple of months back, we couldn’t find any local movers that could answer our questions. We even had to call movers in the U.K.! We were hoping to settle for a 20 ft container but we had things that was more, based on the survey. The other movers were happy to just quote for 20 but GCR sent us 2 quotes for ‘just in case’. So happens that COVID19 pandemic swept through Spain and we couldn’t even leave the house to donate/sell things etc. We knew we had to move with everything! So we accepted their 40 ft container offer which was reasonable. Christopher worked very well in adapting to the situation and also with us. It was a crazy time to be moving really but we had no choice. Our new life was waiting on the other side. They have the best team! We have moved internationally so many times and therefore are pretty familiar with movers, how to pack, how they work etc. We are seasoned expats you can say. On the first day of Phase 1 of lockdown in Spain- The guys came with their gloves, face masks, face shields and hundreds of boxes on the first day. They were friendly and yet very professional and efficient. We didn’t have to help much but we did. We liked helping to make things easier for them. We made sure they had a good supply of drinks and food, even though they brought their own! It was the least our family could do to help them work happily. After 4 days, it was time to load the container. With a narrow street and hilly at that in Costa Del Sol, again the supervisor worked well in coordinating with the the driver. Everything was loaded carefully and by the time the lock was on the door, I was between crying and smiling with joy. It was sad to say goodbye to such a wonderful team. One of the best team we’ve worked with in our almost 20 years of ‘every couple of years move’ experience! We would like to thank everyone at GCR Madrid for helping us move during what is the craziest time ever to move and for helping us feel calm and protected. Let’s hope we get our things finally on the other side with the same kind of reception as them! Edit in 2024: Used Global Relocations again to help us move from the Netherlands back to Spain. Christopher was again super helpful and the quote was again the most reasonable out of the 4 we called. Seriously the best!!

Finding a good international moving company that you can be confident in isn't easy. But I have only positive things to say about Global Relocations; the whole process was super easy. First, a video call so that they can accurately assess the volume of goods. Very easy. On moving day, a team of fantastic bilingual gents arrived to pack up everything with great care and attention. The international leg is then handled by a local partner. Again, this is good because you need local expertise. Very careful, friendly delivery. But most of all I must say that the office team are super. Friendly, professional and attentive throughout the process. Thanks to Christopher and Karen! Finally, very reasonably priced. Sure, you can pay less, but be careful with cowboys. These guys are professional and the value is excellent. 5* service.

From Canada to Spain. The service was exceptional and very responsive. They gave us everything we needed to fill and answered any questions we had. Andrea was wonderful, we've been exchanging for almost a year and she always kept me well updated. She was amazing. Nothing was broken from our boxes. The service included unpacking which...didn't happened unfortunately. The other reason for my 4/5 is that the estimate time of arrival changed twice and the port also changed, which left us a bit confused, Andrea always answered though. If we had to move again, we will probably contact them again :)

To me it is hard to give them more than 3 stars. We moved from Madrid to London and during the entire process the communication was great and client service as well. Everything was picked up and delivered in 5 days which is amazing but from the beginning they said that part of the service was to put furniture together and unpack all boxes in the new place in London. Unfortunately that was not the case, they left a total of 15 boxes still unopened and furniture in pieces including a standing desk they took apart in many pieces unnecessarily. It feels like we paid for a service they didn’t delivered entirely, bit disappointing.

Excellent service! I needed to move from Barcelona to Japan with only three weeks' notice and GLOBAL made it happen seamlessly. Their team was punctual, fast, professional and friendly, making the process smooth and stress-free. Their pricing was transparent and more affordable than many other quotes I received, with no hidden or surprise fees. This was a huge relief, especially given the short notice of my move. Choosing the right company was a major concern, but Global proved to be the best decision. Christopher, in particular, was outstanding. He kept me informed every step of the way, especially when our shipment was rerouted due to unforeseen circumstances like missile attacks on cargo ships in the Red Sea. Very impressed with the service! Global handled the importation of our personal belongings into Spain from the Bahamas. I had many problems with the Bahamas end (this was a separate contract) but as soon as Global got involved the communication improved and from the ship docking in Spain to delivery to my new home the service was flawless.

My removal from Spain to Australia went very well. All arrived in good time in one piece. Both the packing and final delivery teams were efficient and pleasant to deal with. There were a couple of hiccups with visas and customs but these were dealt with properly and i got good support in resolving. All in all a professional job was done and people good to work with. Excellent service. Above the standards service, very dedicated and attentive team. We moved from Valencia in Spain to Cape Town in South Africa and we decided to choose Global Relocations because every time we phone their office (not any virtual one) based in Madrid and sent and email, they were ready to answer all of our questions even before we decided which company to choose from. It's not easy to move to a totally different country with different laws. They knew about all the permits needed, documents to be prepared and forms to be filled out (both in Spain and in South Africa) and they took care of everything. They also advised us on the size of the container and different options we had, what to take or not. The packaging team was very efficient, the boxes are made with good material, and we didn't have a single glass broken. Everything came intact. The company they work with here in SA was also very good and unpacked everything we needed and removed the boxes. Ha sido una experiencia fantástica. De los tres presupuestos no era el más barato pero estaban más o menos en el mismo rango y definitivamente el más fiable, porque son especialistas en mudanzas internacionales. Definitivamente un trabajo muy profesional. Los volvería a elegir definitivamente.

We recently had a Home Search in Valencia through Global. Their agent was really helpful at setting up all the viewings and provided informative walks of each neighborhood around each viewing, showing us where the gyms, groceries etc in each area would be. She also went the extra mile in negotiations with the realtors, which was especially helpful as we don't speak Spanish and they realtors often don't speak English. We went there for a week to find a place before we move in December, and after 7 viewings we had a place signed for and holding deposit paid by Friday. I would definitely recommend this service for stress reduction!

August 2022 Move Switzerland to Spain This is just an update on the previous review. Last year we used Global to move to Switzerland for a year, then the time got to go back to Madrid, and once more, 3rd time in a row we selected Global. It is very simple when you have to move and you dont really need to worry about who is going to do the move for you. Once more, the move went really smooth, Sisto and Juan did a great Job in Zurich, incredible to see how they packed a 5 bedroom house in 1.5 days. It is really great to interact with them and their way the treat everything and always with a sense of humour. At destination, the same, very efficient, very good team. And special thanks to Chris who organizes everything making my life really easy, super easy!! We will probably move again in the next 2 years and the first item in the list would be "Call Chris from Global" 2021 Move Spain To Switzerland We were told we had to move from Spain to Switzerland and having used Global in the past, i reached to them to give me a quote for the move. As usual it was very fast and agile having a quote within a day. The move went really good, they packed and loaded the track in a couple of days and then delivered in Zurich just a few days afterwards after clearing customs. Team at destination was also very good and unpacked and mounted everything within 24h (5 bedroom House), amazing! I would always recommend global to anybody moving abroad, there is enough stress with all the stuff you have to do, so having the move under control is key. Move from Madrid to London. Top quality of the crew packing and placing the packing in our new home. All our house belongings delivered with no damage. Flexibility to move dates after discussion. Belongings delivered in 10 days but we had to wait for another 12 days to get all furniture (including sofas) due to the lack of planning for an elevator in London. Poor communication during the whole process (prior to the packing, during the transport of items and up to delivery of items), which caused us a lot of stress and extra cost on our own logistics.

Global never disappoints. I have used their shipment and delivery service numerous times now and their service is simply excellent. All their staff is very friendly, precise and helpful. They are very accommodating and will always help resolve questions or doubts. Would highly recommend this company for any move!

I’ve never shipped anything Internationally, and when my mother passed, I had a house to clear out in Spain, and I’m in Arizona! Due to unforeseen circumstances, I was unable to be there and oversee any portion of the pick-up, packaging, or shipping. I had investigated many companies and they all directed my questions and concerns to their websites (FAQs). Not Global. They insisted on a long-distance call where they could answer all my questions and assure me that, although a smaller company, they are experts in relocation. They were so good at explaining each step of the process and payments that I knew I’d found a company I could trust and that would provide very personalized service. Aside from doing everything on time and very professionally, they kept me updated all along the way. And when I had a question, it was never more than 8 hrs. before I got an email with a response; considering time differences, I couldn’t help but wonder if they ever slept! I was fortunate to have Christopher Rosemeyer in charge of my account. He was wonderful, but I also had correspondence with several others and every one of them responded to my concerns as if I were their only client. My sister met the pick-up crew on location and said they were all very professional, and courteous and took great care about packing each item safely while double-checking that everything was accounted for. After all our communication, I feel like I know these people. I could go on and on, but the message here is that I received the absolute best service I could imagine and in spite of current back-ups at ports, my shipment was delivered in just over 10 weeks, just as they had estimated. They were consistently responsive to my questions, flexible to support my needs, and they were on-time on both pickup and delivery. Most importantly, all of my items arrived in Madrid in perfect condition.

We contacted Global for our move from Spain to Italy. A big move always causes stress and for me personally I was also super anxious and suspicious upfront, because we had a really bad experience the last time we moved with a different company. Fouzia our relocation agent in Spain did a great job and has been super attentive during the whole time and always responsive within a short time frame. Even at the beginning, when I was a bit chaotic about the dates, she really managed it perfectly. The crew who collected our stuff in Spain was also very friendly and also the same with the 2 men who brought our stuff to our Italian address. All our boxes and furniture have been delivered within one week to the new place and nothing was lost or destroyed. The price was super fair and reasonable. This was a wonderful company to work with! We had been waiting for visas for a very long time, and then very suddenly had six days to arrange our move. They were very helpful and flexible, communicating with us and our representative back in the U.S. to arrange the transportation of our goods to Spain. They helped with paperwork and customs, and they kept us advised of the status of our shipment throughout the process. The men who delivered our shipment were courteous and professional. They were happy to wait in the cold while I rushed my girls to school, (and even helped me clear the ice off my windshield!) I would definitely use this company again. They are worth every penny.

Después de cotizar con varias empresas de mudanza, nos decidimos por GCR porque sentimos desde el primer momento que era una empresa seria y comprometida. Hoy puedo confirmar que TODOS los comentarios son ciertos y que esta empresa vale lo que profesa. La comunicación efectiva en el proceso fue vital. Hemos contratado a Global Corporate Relocation en dos oportunidades. La primera fue para mudar todos los articulos de la una casa muy grande desde Madrid a Miami en el 2018. We had a 20 ft container shipped from Spain to Beiruit Lebanon, then transported to our home in the South of Lebanon, not one thing was broken. I personally would not choose any other for reliability, honesty and professionalism.
