Wisse Moving

Unfortunately, we had a very unpleasant experience with Wisse moving. I have assigned this company to take care of my move to Singapore. There have been several issues from the very beginning incl. providing wrong information to the local agent, denying Insurance claims, significant delivery delays and additional charges that have not been quoted in advance (not talking about port handling charges). I can accept small issues and miscommunication, however, the way how those issues were treated are very unprofessional and arrogant. I would suggest to avoid this company for any oversea services.

The movers were very professional and took care of all my belongings. The paperwork was easy and the international shipping was smooth and arrived fast.

I would highly recommend Wisse moving both for the quality and attention of the client service as well as the quality of packing, removal, shipment and delivery. The company was proactive and engaging and kept me very much in the loop at all stages of the process. And I received immediate responses to all my questions from day 1. Wisse was also flexible with the right options to meet my needs adapting quantity and timing and destination of the move to find the right solution for me. And in practice, there was a seamless connection from loading in Spain to storage to delivery in UK.

We moved from Granada to Düsseldorf without having an exact address in advance (stuff was stored in a warehouse for several months). Everything went great! In Granada, everything was carefully packed and labeled, and sent to the warehouse. In Düsseldorf, we received everything safe and sound, even the wine glasses survived! And no foreign smells or traces of moisture on the textiles and paper (and it's autumn!). Mr. Wisse and his team were in touch with us and kept us informed. It was a great, calm move, thank you very much!

Quick, easy and really helpful

Second time I’ve hired Wisse Moving for a move, this time from Madrid to Murcia with 25 m3. Everything was neatly disassembled and reassembled by the guys, and everything was protected very carefully. It all went really fast too. Great service and recommend it for all your moves!

Unfortunately, I have had a VERY BAD experience with WISSE Moving. The staff handling all the admin organizing my move from Miramar (Valencia) to Zurich were excellent. They proposed an insurance coverage for up to €5,000 which I accepted and paid for. I only moved dining table, 6 chairs, TV unit, coffee table, desk, small table, 2 units and lamps, carpet, several boxes (a few were very fragile and had red and white FRAGILE written across). The 2 men who came to my flat to pack and protect my furniture in Spain were excellent and I tipped them for having protected my furniture and boxes so carefully with Fragile stickers across. I automatically assumed that my furniture and boxes would arrive in good condition. The DELIVERY was a NIGHTMARE, first Rene and Alex inform me that the driver will call me when he’s close by and that the delivery would be late morning. So by mid day I am still waiting and I contact Rene and Alex to investigate and they said it was arriving in the afternoon. Again no delivery in the afternoon and once again contacted Rene and Alex and this time they said it was arriving early evening. The mover (and I specify single mover) finally called me around 18h30 to say he was arriving early evening. I am now impatiently waiting outside for my delivery and a small truck arrives - the driver was ALONE!! To cut my long story short, ALL MY FURNITURE arrived DAMAGED and SCRAPED. Boxes that were carefully and clearly labeled FRAGILE had been bounced around as my crystal glasses and several delicate pieces were all shattered. I was so upset with all the damages. ***I had paid movers to damage my furniture*** Immediately I contacted Rene and Alex (who had been so efficient in assisting me with the preparations of the move) sending them photos of all the damages and asking them to please process my insurance claim for the damages. I thought that I was dealing with professionals but SURPRISE, Rene and Alex no longer respond to my emails, they have never apologized for all the damages they are responsible for and never a reassuring word about making an insurance claim. I received short email saying they were on vacation and were revert on their return. Then another short email from Alex saying that Rene was in charge of my file and would get back to me. It is now 3 weeks since I received my damaged furniture and Rene and Alex have stopped replying to my emails. I DO NOT recommend WISSE Movers as I don’t wish this nightmare on anyone else. I’m enclosing a few photos (that were sent to WISSE) After this post, Wisse team finally apologized and said that my insurance claim was being processed. However, they send me an email saying that I don’t qualify for a claim as I signed a receipt of merchandise paper. Copy of their email is attached. After waiting 12 hours for my merchandise and the young solo delivery man dropped off 39 packages in my living room, I was supposed to unpack and check through all the merchandise before signing this document. I have nothing to add. I DO NOT RECOMMEND these arrogant and greedy owners of this company. I should have checked more carefully on their reviews as it seems I am NOT the only DISSATISFIED client. There are plenty of others who had the same terrible experience.

Wisse Moving is a very professional moving company. They were responsive at all times, providing support during the entire moving process. Very effective and took very good care of our belonging. We will def work with them again if we have do to another move.

My move from Barcelona to Lisbon went smoothly thanks to the thorough packing of goods (including several large paintings which were properly crated and secured), efficiently and transparency of the team, and the excellent communications from Rene, who kept me updated throughout. A few words of appreciation for the wonderful experience I had with Wisse Moving for the move of my household goods from Malaga to San Francisco. After contacting three moving companies it soon became evident to me that Wisse Moving based in Barcelona would be able to address all my needs, including communication in English as they have a bilingual staff. They answered all my questions and concerns and offered competitive prices. The door-to-door service was completely transparent on the basis of a fixed price proposal, with no surprises or hidden charges. The service included collection of goods from Malaga, crating them into liftvans, transport of goods by sea container, customs clearance in Spain as well as USA, terminal handling/port charges and delivery to the final destination. The estimated times of transport and delivery were communicated at the time of booking and were quite reasonably accurate. The pickup and delivery crew were prompt and the goods arrived in perfect condition. Could not have been happier. Having very reluctantly to move back to the UK after six years in Barcelona we were concerned to read the poor reviews for many removal companies. How lucky that we choose Wisse Moving. From start to finish response times were incredible, the video quotation system smooth and simple and everything went exactly to plan. The packing service was excellent and all done in under three hours for our 2-bed/2-bathroom apartment. We didn't realise just how well packed everything was until we unpacked at the other end. Everything thing was done professionally, without fuss and efficiently. All WhatsApp messages to Rene were responded to within minutes and he put up with my stressing about the street in Barcelona being potentially closed on moving day - in the end it wasn't! We couldn't recommend Wisse Moving more highly!

I've tried to request the info for sending some furniture internationaly from different companies but only Wisse moving answered immediately. After a few letters it was clear we gonna choose them because only they had that attitude they really cared but not in a pushy way and were not leaving me alone with unanswered questions (and I'm quite demanding and double-checking everything, could send 15 letters a day - got answers for everything!). My experience was very good. There were a couple issues but all solved in time. I do recommend them, at least in Barcelona 😉

Me ha gustado mucho la atención recibida. En mi caso quedé con un agente para que pudiese valorar el volumen de bultos que tenía y así mandar un camión acorde. Todo fue según lo previsto. Muy rápido (un día para el presupuesto y dos días de viaje desde España a Holanda!) Los transportistas fueron muy amables e incluso me enviaban updates de por donde iban, si iba a haber algún retraso, confirmación de hora... También albaranaron los bultos y me ayudaron a embalar un par de ellos que no era capaz de mover por mi misma. De todas las compañías que contacté parece que está era la única que quería trabajar; por otra parte desde el primer momento que hablé con René tuve un muy buen feeling y al final de nuestra videollamada tenía prácticamente claro que iba a contratar el servicio. Sólo puedo decirles que muchas gracias por su buen trabajo.

Wisse Moving se encargó de nuestra mudanza de España a Australia. Todo impecable, desde la primera comunicación con ellos, el presupuesto y por supuesto el embalaje y todo lo relativo al envío. Siempre accesible y dispuestos a resolver cualquier duda. Ahora al desempacar vemos su profesionalidad, incluso en algunos muebles te van marcando por donde van las partes juntas y te indican en qué paquetes vienen los tornillos y demás para el montaje. Sin duda, si me vuelvo a mudar (espero que no!) los volvería a utilizar sin duda alguna. 100% recomendable. Gracias Wisse Moving, ya tengo mis cosas en otro continente :)

We have moved twice by Wisse Moving from Barcelona to Madrid. They have always been punctual, reliable, taking good care of the art and valuable antiques. The team is very helpful and cheerful . We can’not compare with another moving company from Zaragoza which was a total disaster. We can highly recommend the Weiss Moving company.

You can trust Wisse Moving for your international transports and relocation. My family left Barcelona for Perth, Western Australia. All our belongings were wrapped and packed very professionally, rightly prepared for a long and rough journey. 15.000 Km later everything arrived intact and ready to be used again. René, the owner, will take good care of you a personalized way. Maybe not the cheapest provider around but quality and professionalism are 100% guaranteed. Which is what you want for your big move.

Arrogant, cynical, rude and lacking on basic rules of social behaviour. My best guess is that they’ve swapped the oh so glorious customer service reported on reviews of over 4 months ago... or the amazing reviews were made by friends and family of the fantastic (read knobheads) people running this business. Simple, paid services usually go: Step 1 - introduction to the service needed. Step 2 - applicable suggestions by those providing the service. Step 3 - disagreeing with providing said services or come up with solutions including budgets. These fellas jump straight to a so far unknown step to me: A “?” Followed by a new message simply stating “we’re not the cheapest” ending with a glorious 3rd message “Wish you all the best on your move” Take your own conclusions, people! Or better yet, contact them if you’re in the need of unnecessary confrontations and deep frustrations.

I do not recommend this company, mostly due to its poor customer service. Besides the fact that the company takes too long to reply to a simple quote request, then agents reveal no empathy and often use negative language. Clearly a No!!

Used Wisse Moving to ship our household goods from Valencia to New Zealand Dec 2018. They were professional, items were packed up well and no breakages. Our items arrived in NZ on time and the company they partnered with in NZ were excellent.

Three whole processes, from first contact to the final moving, went in full professionalism and courtesy - not an obvious thing these days. We are sure that in case we need another moving the Wisse Moving team will be the first to know. Highly recommended!

Used their services to move from Barcelona to Helsinki and found the entire experience very pleasant. The movers were on time, responses to my emails were quick and after we finished packing they stepped forward and offered me refund due to me slightly overestimating the amount of stuff that I had. 5/5

Ik ben uitermate tevreden over de werkzaamheden en zorgvuldigheid van René en zijn team. Mijn 'door to door' verhuizing van Curacao naar Mallorca had ik bij een ander verhuisbedrijf geregeld. Echter, halverwege het transport werd mijn container vastgehouden door de Douane in Barcelona, en wilde het andere verhuisbedrijf mij niet verder helpen. René heeft deze kwestie toen overgenomen van het andere verhuisbedrijf en voor mij opgelost. Ik ben hem daar erg dankbaar voor. Het is mij duidelijk geworden dat er nogal wat verschil zit in kennis en bekwaamheden van het ene en het andere verhuisbedrijf, en dat samenwerken met de verkeerde partij een hoop extra geld kost. René heeft in ons geval bewezen voldoende kennis en bekwaamheden te bezitten. Ik kan hem aanbevelen aan anderen. Ik zou zelf, mocht ik ooit weer gaan verhuizen, geen moment twijfelen om de verhuizing door René te laten uitvoeren.

I am completely satisfied with the whole service provided to me. It was done on a short notice, all the details were communicated timely and accurately. The collection of the items was performed quickly and carefully, coordination with the receiving agency was done transparently and I have received all my items in perfect condition. Even when some of my stuff was not fitting in the standard packaging solutions were found. I would definitely recommend (and I have) working with René to anyone who wants a good moving service.

Pedí mudanza desde Barcelona a Londres con almacen en Barcelona para un mes (es gratis!). Todo fui muy facil: mandé fotos de mis cosas por WhatsApp, me hacieron el presupuesto y luego vinieron dos chicos y embalajaron todo (no necesitas comprar cajas y embajalar por si mismo - los hacen todo) con mucho cuidado (eso era muy importante, tenía cosas fragiles), tambien indicaron todo en las cajas: que está dentro de caja, si es fragíl y otro (es muy comodo cuando tienes 30 cajas). Ahora ya he recibido todo en mi domicilio nuevo en Londres (todo bien y sin daños). Todas las comunicaciones con René pasaban muy rapido, por movil, correo electronico o WhatsApp. Y que no es menos importante - los precios son muy adequados. Me gustó mucho y recomiendo este servicio a todos que necesitan organizar mudanza sin dolor y problemas!

I shipped two vehicles from Canada to Spain. As I was looking for support to take care of the import process Wisse Moving was recommended to me by Viamar. I really enjoyed the collaboration. During the whole process communication was very thorough and professional. This was key for a successful import process. When I re-united with my vehicles last week they were in perfect shape (also thanks to shipper Viamar). Overall the process has been very positive and I can wholeheartedly recommend Wisse Moving.

Tenia de plazo hasta hoy para pagar una mudanza. He tenido un cambio de última hora y además del traslado tengo que vaciar el piso, con lo que se duplica el precio. Me han llamado a las 10h y les he comentado que estaba esperando a solucionar el tema del vaciado, que les confirmaba algo en un par de horas. Me han cancelado el servicio, prácticamente colgándome el teléfono y diciéndome que ellos no trabajan así, además de dejarme colgada con la mudanza. Nunca más. Gracias.

De la pedida de precio hasta el final, los servicios de Wisse Moving fueron de una cualidad estupenda para un precio correcto. Mi madre que tiene 85 anos fue muy contenta de como se desarollo el cargo, en Platja d'Aro, con los 4 chicos. Y estoy muy satisfecha de la entrega en Francia, en Marsella : puntualidad, competencia, simpatía. Los dos chicos han superado todos los problemas sin quejar y con gran eficacidad. Super efficient service. I contacted Wisse Moving regarding my move from Barcelona to Amsterdam and got an answer same day which is very difficult to get from other similar companies. Got all the details sorted out very fast. Packing and transporting my belongings went pretty smooth. Great job! Perfect timing and really cheapest price! I moved a house holds from Cyprus (Pafos) to Barcelona. Loading and unloading teams worked very fast and safe. Door to door it took 30 days. Hice una mudanza dentro de españa. Todo el personal fue muy puntual, atento y eficiente y todas mis cajas llegaron intactas a destino. Únicamente les recomendaría que hicieran más propaganda de sus servicios, porqué yo me enteré porqué una amiga me lo recomendó, pero de no haber sido así no sé si habría encontrado su empresa.

Since moving to Barcelona I have faced many issues with sorting paperwork, Banks stuff and residency certificates. To be honest it has all been a bit of a nightmare. Luckily though calling Wisse has totally restored my faith and convinced me that moving here was a good decision. The company in the UK that I hired to move my stuff to Barcelona dumped my boxes in a depot outside of town. It was Friday afternoon and my street closes at 5PM and over the weekend. I called Wisse at 2pm and my stuff [20 large boxes and a bed] was picked up and delivered to me at 4:45 The delivery guys were super professional and helped get my stuff up to the 4th floor! If you need any logistic help in Spain they are THE company to call
