The best food I’ve had in Mallorca!! Chef Ross exceeded out expectations so spectacularly we had him cook for us a second time! I wish there was another star so I could give him 6 stars!

We had the pleasure of working with Ross for one of our UHNW clients, and the experience was exceptional. His attention to detail, refined taste, and culinary level are truly among the best on the island. Looking forward to next time!

Chef Ross Hutchison cooked the most delicious dinner for us in our Mallorcan villa. His dishes were all outstanding, the service and preparation were all very professional. Ross was great company to have around and we had a fabulous evening.

I celebrated my 45th birthday with friends in Mallorca, and choosing Chef Ross was absolutely the right decision. From the very first moment, he was incredibly responsive and friendly. He answered all of my 1000 questions))) and also provided helpful recommendations about Mallorca. We had a complex order since some guests were gluten-free and others couldn't have dairy. Ross accommodated all our requests, and everything was flawless. The table setting was magnificent. The chef presented each dish with a smile, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. His assistant was also very sweet and friendly. Everyone rated the dishes very highly, and I especially want to thank him for the gluten-free and dairy-free Pavlova dessert. It was not only beautiful but also incredibly delicious. Additionally, we received a lovely breakfast box. It was filled with fresh and tasty treats that everyone enjoyed. The only negative was that the evening flew by too quickly, and we forgot to take a selfie with the chef! But I hope we will return for that. I highly recommend Chef Ross; your evening will be impeccable, and it's so much better than dining in any restaurant.

What an extraordinary gift to have Chef Ross create our nightly meals at a recent yoga retreat on Mallorca. His cuisine is exquisite and his passion is evident in every detail. He prizes local ingredients in surprising combinations that are just delicious. Some favorites from our stay was a melt-in-your-mouth local braised lamb, Mallorca grown runner beans and tomatoes, and a Lebanese sharing meal with about ten dishes that blew me away! He even created a specialty butter each evening to complement his soudough bread made with Mallorcan flour. It’s a fine dining experience every night. Chef enthusiastically shared stories from his kitchen and cooking past and even gave us a cooking demo on preserving lemons and making flatbreads. Generous with his time and talent and a super nice guy.

If you are looking for an incredible food experience look no further. Chef Ross works from the heart and you can taste the love in his food! As a yoga retreat leader I will continue to work with Chef Ross because he really is the best!

If I had to ever describe my food experience with Chef Ross in just one word, I’d say it was a FANTASTIC! The best food I ever ate in my life! The most beautiful presentation too! And I loved how much knowledge and passion was behind it! Chef Ross loved when we asked him all sorts of questions and was happy to answer all of them! And always with a smile on his face! :) The bread is a separate topic! So good!!! I arrived to Mallorca for my yoga retreat and had no idea that it will be also an unforgettable delicious food retreat!!! Thank you Chef Ross! P.S.: thank you for your sourdough starter!!! The best food I have ever eaten - I just cannot recommend Ross and his team highly enough. He manages to incorporate so many ingredients into his delicious dishes which are all crowd pleasers. He will hardly ever create the same dish twice. On top of the most incredible cuisine is the chance to speak to a chef who is passionate about his craft and creating a magical experience. Truly exceptional dining and you would be so fortunate to have Ross cook for you.

Ross honestly makes the best food I have ever tasted. He is passionate about food and cooking to his clients tastes. We looked forward every day to the spread he would produce, and our kids also loved his kids meals. Would highly recommend!

You will not find a better private chef (in Mallorca or anywhere!) than Ross! He has catered our 16 person holidays for 3 years now and every time is truly outstanding - hugely creative, fresh, and just all round sublime. Great too at communication, very adaptive to our needs, and an all round excellent person. Cannot recommend enough.

The communication leading up to our private dinner was flawless — Chef Ross was so accommodating and patient. The meal exceeded our expectations and it was definitely a highlight of our Mallorca trip.

Laura and Magali from Ross's team took care of us impeccably, exceeding our expectations. The food was truly exquisite, and the service was flawless. Chef Ross and his team helped us celebrate a birthday dinner for 20 at our finca. From early communication to the wrap up of the meal, every element was 5 star worthy. We had the Cava & Canape service, followed by the family-style feast. The table settings were stunning, every bite was exquisite, and the service from his team was better than any restaurant we visited on the island! Our guests talked about the meal for the rest of the trip. I highly recommend Private Chef Mallorca for your next event, big or small. I'm already looking for another excuse to have them back!

Ross and his team, Chef Luis and Magali, provided the perfect restaurant dining experience at our villa. From dressing the table, serving the food and then clearing down, the service was just brilliant. The food was absolutely delicious, the sharing platters were plentiful and exactly what we wanted. Amazing experience! Chef Jasmine and her team were superb and Ross was a pleasure to deal with when arranging my surprise dinner! It was so nice to have the food prepped and presented in the comfort of our own space rather than heading out or cooking ourselves. Everything was immaculately presented and the elegant touches and finer details really added to the experience and it felt like bringing a Michelin starred restaurant in to our villa!

My family and I had a fantastic dining experience with Ross and Luis during our holiday in Mallorca. The food was lovely and the dialogue with Ross before the meal was without problems. We were six people from 30 to 70 years old and everyone really liked the food. Ross and his colleague Luis can be highly recommended!

We booked Ross for my birthday party with 11 guests and it was bloody brilliant. I chose the five course menu with wine pairing, cava & canape and a breakfast box for the inevitable hangover breakfast. The only bad thing I can say is that my guests have been bugging me for days where to get the wines from the tasting. Ross and his waitress Magalie were attentive, fun to be around and very professional in the best way imaginable. I have nothing but the highest praise to give and I'm more than prepared to hear about the fond memories my guests have about that evening for years to come.

Chef Ross delivered an absolutely incredible experience for my family of 11 people. The creativity, attention to detail, ingredients, and most importantly taste, were all top notch. We have now had the pleasure of using Ross twice. First for our pre wedding family dinner in 2019 and a second time August 2022. Both were absolutely sensational. We have used Private Chefs all around the world and none compare to Ross. The standard of food, the wine pairing and energy Ross brings all makes for a truely memorable evening.

We booked Ross for a private dinner at a Villa we had hired in Palma for hen do. On the way to the airport, our Villa cancelled on us. I messaged Ross to advise we would no longer be able to have the dinner we had planned. Ross went above and beyond to find a solution. The hotel we booked was coincidentally a short walk from Ross kitchen, “The Kitchen Space”, and he suggested we had the dinner there instead. We were so unbelievably grateful. We went to meet Ross at The Kitchen Space during the day to set up some decorations as he kindly allowed us to dress the space. He adapted the 3 course meal to the most amazing buffet. I cannot put into words how amazing the night was. Ross was the most amazing host!!! He always had a smile on his face, the food kept coming and we partied the night away. He even made us cocktails! We cannot thank Ross enough for what he did and how amazing he is. It’s so nice to see someone with such a passion for his food and his customers. I cannot recommend him enough. I would not think twice about booking Ross again :)

I was organising a birthday party originally for 18 that grew to 28, which he accommodated with grace & patience. I can’t say enough good things about Ross & his team. Everything was pitch perfect. From the beautiful table decorations & the attentive and friendly staff, to the exceptional "Family Feast menu". Every single course was exceptional . We booked the services of Chef Ross during August 2022 and it was certainly one of the highlights of our 12 day stay in Mallorca. Chef Ross's attention to detail, from the setting of the table to his more than extensive knowledge of the food and local area made us feel like we made the right choice. The food was exquisite, the service was impeccable (we had 9 diners and he handled everything by himself - including cleaning the kitchen afterwards!), and his stories were engaging. Ross was fabulous. He brought an amazing breakfast spread each day with fresh fruit, , yogurt, bread, cheese and cold cuts. Dinners were lavish and delicious.

We spent a full month traveling Europe last summer and I can honestly say that Ross catering two epic dinners for our family was the highlight. We are still talking about his homemade bread. Not only was the food Michelin star level but he fit in beautifully with our family - he's someone you want to hang out with. Highly responsive, professional, we actually spent time thinking about how we might bring him home with us.

Ross exceeded all our expectations and I couldn’t recommend him enough! He cooked the most delicious dishes for us and made our first night the perfect start to a fun filled hens trip. For a group of 15 ladies with different dietary requirements including the hen herself being gluten/dairy free and our special guest the hens godmother (Cathrine Zeta Jones) being a vegetarian, Ross still managed to make everything outstanding. He was very engaging and gave amazing stories with each dish which added an extra twist to each course. Don’t hesitate to book him if you want incredible food in the comfort of your own private space. I organized a private dinner with Chef Ross in Majorca for my husband and his best friend’s birthday. We had a fairly high expectation before the meal as he was highly recommended by a friend. Still, the experience exceeded our expectation on every aspect. Food: We had a four course dinner with fresh made sourdough bread and several small appetizers. All the dishes were very creative with a local twist and made with fresh ingredients produced locally. Chef Ross also made an amazing birthday cake for our birthday boys. The menu was innovative and well designed with customization to accommodate our 2 vegetarian friends, 2 pescatarian eaters and one pregnant women who can’t have seafood at the moment. Service: Chef Ross and his assistant also set the table for us with beautiful flowers and candles. It was stunning and well prepared to every little detail. In addition, they arrived on time with all the supplies and equipment, and left the kitchen spot clean. Overall, Chef Ross created a fantastic memory for us. It was a Michelin star restaurant experience in our own backyard. It has been almost six months since the dinner — we are still talking about it!

We booked Ross for a private dinner at a Villa we had booked in May 2022 for a hen do. On the way to the airport, our Villa cancelled our stay and we had to book a hotel. I messaged Ross to advise that we could sadly no longer have the dinner. Ross went above and beyond to find a solution for us! We, coincidently, booked a hotel that was a very short walk away from where Ross’ kitchen “The Kitchen Space” We couldn’t believe it. We went to meet Ross at the Kitchen Space during the day as he kindly allowed us to put some decorations / pictures up. Nothing was a problem for him! The menu was adapted to a beautiful buffet but this was absolutely no problem at all, we were just so grateful that he found a way to accommodate us. He had a very loud group of girls all night and he had the patience of a sin! I cannot thank and recommend him enough. He has such a passion for food and hosting, and you can really see that. Private Chef Mallorca always delivers! We‘ve had the privilege of having Chef Ross and his team‘s dinners several times and each time it‘s the highlight of our vacation! They take care of everything. The whole team is super friendly and the food is always exceptional! Can‘t wait for the next event..

We celebrated my girlfriend‘s birthday in a private mansion in Mallorca and booked Ross for the catering at the private event upon a local friend‘s recommendation. It was the best decision ever! The whole dinner was excellent. Ross recommended that we should opt for a feast style dinner with plates to share and we were not disappointed. Every course was spectacular and the love to detail (from the setting with the little flowers to the fancy dessert with gin cream) was incredible. For most of our guests it was the best meal of the whole trip (and we had visited all the well known names on the island). I would absolutely recommend Ross and his team without any hesitation. 5⭐️

I researched quite a few private chefs in Mallorca before our trip, but Chef Ross's food looked so fresh and beautifully prepared that I decided to reach out to him. He was incredibly responsive to my emails and gave me wonderful options, so we booked a few meals with him during our stay. The first day he packed lunch for our group for a boat outing and included a variety of salads, ceviche, gourmet sandwiches and lemon tarts, and everything was absolutely delicious (that was the best lemon tart I've ever had!). For our dinner that evening, Chef Luis came to our house and cooked a spectacular family-style feast. They provided all the table decorations and flowers and set everything up beautifully, and the meal was delicious. The fish was fresh and perfectly cooked, all the veggies and sides were equally as amazing, and their homemade bread was hard to stop eating! For dessert, they made a chocolate cake for my husband's birthday, and months later, we STILL talk about that chocolate cake. They also left breakfast items in our refrigerator for us to enjoy the following day and once again, everything was wonderful. I have pretty high standards when it comes to food - I research chefs, restaurants and markets/stores ahead of time, and I'm so happy I found Chef Ross. He was easy to work with, everything was organized and prepared beautifully, and most importantly, everything we ate was fresh and delicious. Whenever I am able to make a trip back to Mallorca, Chef Ross and Luis will be the first people I contact to book ahead!

We had the most amazing family style dinner with Chef Luis. We were so glad that we ordered the additional breakfast box so we could keep the party going the next day! An amazing evening with our private chef Luis. Even the kids menus were superb. Luis was doing his magic in the kitchen while we were free to just relax and have an amazing night. All dishes were super tasteful and beautifully presented and Luis was kind and did a very good job in just blending in and being a natural part of our special evening. The kitchen was left spotless and the breakfast boxes we ordered for the next morning were the perfect ending to a great experience. Our feast with Nathan was a highlight of our holiday. We expected the food to be delicious, but we didn't realise how much extra he would do, flowers, table presentation and generally making the whole evening a very special event.

We, a party of 9 people, celebrated my brother´s 50th birthday at Mallorca. We rented a wonderful house and Ross made us the most fantastic 4 course-dinner, with canapées to start with. This was one of the best dinner we have ever had, every course matched with nice wines. Ross´ homemade bread was heavenly. Both food and service rewarded 5 stars. I was in Mallorca to celebrate my 50th birthday with some friends and family. I decided to splurge (on myself!) and hire Ross for a private chef dinner hosted at the vacation rental house we were staying in near Portocolom. Ross ending up having one of his other chefs come to our house for the dinner and we couldn't have been happier. Luis was very calm and smooth and sweet. He arrived 2 hours before our set time for dinner and quietly set up a beautiful table for us and cooked away. He even handled my very critical (in a good way :-) Spanish girlfriends who hovered over him in the kitchen questioning his techniques and asking for recipes. Lol. When we sat down for dinner, I was overwhelmed with gratitude for the beautiful night Luis helped create for us. And the food he prepared was delicious and healthy and really impressed all of us. As we finished up the birthday torte he made for the party, he was in the kitchen cleaning up and loading all of his things back in his car. Then we said our thank yous and goodbyes and he was on his way. It couldn't have been any easier. Thank you Ross and Luis with all of my heart. Jen

Ross and his wonderful team came to our villa in Andratx 2 times and cooked a fabulous meal for our family of 18. From start to finish Ross was professional and prompt with his communication. They arrived quietly and set the table with beautiful flowers and got to work. We barely even knew that they were there. We chose a family style meal with wine pairings and everything was beyond delicious. Ross’ homemade bread was a big hit and the beef and sea bass were great! Both nights were so special and I’m sure that our family will remember them for a long time. I highly recommend Ross and can not wait to go back to Mallorca and have his delicious food again!

Chef Ross prepared two dinners for our small family wedding in Sant Elm, Mallorca. Everyone at the table was blown away by his food and each meal was a highlight of our trip. Every dish was phenomenal. Chef Ross made our occasion special by bringing decorations, flowers, and lovely table settings. His service was impeccable and he was so friendly and personable! As we were planning our dinners, Chef Ross was very easy to communicate with, responsive to emails, and provided lots of options to suit our needs. I would recommend Chef Ross to anyone and hope we can experience his cooking again soon!

Ross created the most delicious dinner for our group of 17 during the first night of vacation. It set the tone for a magical trip! Ross's communication prior to the trip made us feel confident about the event. As a result, it was a seamless night with he and his team coming in and leaving without any issue. The kitchen was spotless afterwards and everyone was thrilled to find leftovers in the fridge the next day. Ross is a true professional - he smiled throughout the whole night as he took time to explain each dish and wine pairings. Our group spoke of the dinner the rest of the week as it was absolutely perfect. Two of my best friends said they don't even like beets but Ross's were the best they'd ever had and they secretly ate the whole batch. No one else recalls eating a beet, haha. This home chef choice was the best decision we made - and will definitely be hiring him again when we return to Mallorca.

At the time of writing this review Ross has a perfect score of 5.0 and no wonder. Always a highlight of a trip to Mallorca, Ross has made our (extended) family a lovely locally themed and sourced dinner twice. His seawater bread and assorted dips/spreads are the highlight with the curry butter being a standout. Can't recommend enough and to cap it all he's a lovely guy to have a chat with.

I've ordered Private Chef Mallorca for a business trip and it was esplendid. The quality of the food was really good and fresh. The presentation was look after up to the last detail. I really recommend this chef If you have a business trip to do or also, a family trip and you want to disconnect from cooking and during the meals but having a nice quality food service.

We recently hired Ross and his team to cater our company team lunch for a week. Our company is mostly remote working so our get togethers are important. The food was excellent, creative and delicious. Ross was completely flexible, we even changed locations, we had some very specific dietary requirements. Nothing was a problem. I can not speak highly enough of these guys, so much so they are catering for us again this coming week and we are all very excited to see what we will be having for lunch.

We, along with another family booked a house in Mallorca and thought it would be nice to have a chef prepare dinner for us one night. We had no idea that actually what we had booked was an extraordinary culinary experience. Ross Hutchinson was recommended but we had no idea who he was or what he was capable of. He catered for our four children first (the adults also ended up having some it was delicious) and then catered for us. He designed a 5 course tasting menu and threw in some wonderful wine. Ross is extremely personable and pleasant to be with but he is also the consummate professional. The dishes were some of the best we have ever tasted - although we are not gourmets we do live in London and therefore are spoilt for choice - and the descriptions he gave were a fusion of chemistry and poetry! He clearly has a passion for cooking and puts an huge amount of thought into each dish. We cannot recommend him enough as a person and as a chef. He has made a memorable holiday, unforgettable.

The meal was absolutely fabulous and Ross was amazing! We were celebrating my best friend’s bachelorette party and we were so happy! We were able to book last minute as Ross made himself available very quickly and was super accomodating! We can tell how passionate he is about his work, it shows in the meals he serves and the way he talks about cooking🥰 I recommend 100%, best chef in Mallorca for sure!!! I was invited to a dinner at a friend's place cooked by Ross. For me it was the first time to experience a private chef and he surpassed all my expectations in terms of taste. But what really amazed me is that he guided us through the evening, telling us stories and explaining us about "super-foods".

I experienced Ross at a private dinner. We enjoyed a delicious 4 course menu which was presented with a lot of love and passion. The ingredients of the meals were chosen and combined with a lot of thought. Every guest was delighted. Besides the amazing food and service Ross enriched us with his broad knowledge. He was very passioned about explaining the preparation methods, history of the dishes or how he came up with the combinations. Thanks to that we were able to appreciate the food even more. Im Rahmen eines privaten Essens wurde ich von Ross bekocht. Mit frischen Zutaten zauberte er diverse und eindrückliche Erlebniswelten. Dies sowohl auf einer optischen, wie auch geschmacklichen Ebene. Ross vermag mit seiner Art den ganzen Raum mit positiver Energie zu füllen. Das was er macht bzw. kocht, tut er aus innerster Überzeugung und mit grösster Sorgfalt, sodass sich das ebenfalls im Ergebnis wiederspiegelt. Ich hoffe, dass ich noch Gelegenheit haben werde, mich von Ross bekochen zu lassen. So etwas vergisst man nicht und möchte es immer wieder haben. Danke!

Od vtedy sme sa zucasnili mnohych vybornych vecier, workshoppov varenia pizze, gnocchov a kazdy krat sa nam len potvrdilo ze Ross nieje len fantasticky kuchar ale aj vyborny hostitel. Kazdy detail od inovativneho aperitiva cez domaci chlieb, maslo, predjedla, hlavne jedna az po dezerty bol vzdy perfektne prepracovany. Uz teraz sa neveiem dockat dalsej vecere s Rossom!

Seit 2019 hatte ich während mehreren Malen das Vergnügen, in den Genuss der Kochkünste von Ross Hutchison, Private Chef Mallorca, zu kommen. Als virtuoser Koch fand er sich u.a. auch in meiner kleinen Küche Zuhause zurecht und machte die Abende unter Freunden zu einem unvergesslichen kulinarischen Erlebnis. Seine Begeisterung für fabelhaftes Essen, den dazu passenden Wein oder Cocktail ist schlicht ansteckend! Ross' breitabgestütztes Fachwissen zur Herkunft verschiedener Zutaten und Speisen regte immer wieder aufs Neue zu tollen Gesprächen an. Alle Gerichte waren ideenreich und für uns frisch zubereitet (mit saisonalen Zutaten vom Wochenmarkt). Private Chef Mallorca übertraf damit unsere Erwartungen auf der ganzen Linie und machte hungrig auf Mehr! Ich empfehle Private Chef Mallorca jedem, der sensationelles Essen liebt und eine facettenreiche und charmante Persönlichkeit kennenlernen möchte.

Estuvimos cenando en el local de Ross hace unos meses. Aunque la verdad es que llamarlo cena se queda muy corto. Fue toda una experiencia gastronómica. Al llegar, nos recibió con unos cócteles que disfrutamos mientras nos enseñaba la cocina. Y a continuación nos dio una masterclass sobre cómo hacer los mejores gnocchis que hemos comido nunca (¡y participamos de hacerlos con él!). Como entrantes, pudimos disfrutar de un auténtico pan casero hecho por Ross, acompañado de una variedad de salsas para untar. Riquísimo todo. Los platos principales fueron gnocchis con salvia y mantequilla y corvina en una reducción de gambas espectacular. Cocina de la más alta calidad. Estoy seguro de que Ross es uno de los mejores cocineros de la isla. Personalmente no conozco a otro mejor. Pero es que además es una persona divertida, agradable y educada. ¡Volveremos en cuanto podamos!

We recently hired Private Chef Mallorca to cater for our two week holiday in Mallorca (private dining on the evening, and breakfast boxes left the same evening for the following morning). The private dining was, simply put, spectacular. Chef Ross took care of business from start to finish (cleaning up whatever mess we had previously left in the kitchen, working his culinary magic, and leaving everything spotless when he left). To start with, he transformed the dining area from a simple table to an intimate restaurant-style setting. We were then treated to multi course tasting menus (or when we had more people, family style sharing). When we sat down for dinner, we were always treated to a wonderful bread-based starter platter with the likes of freshly made hoummus, curry butter or spiced oils. Breads were all home made, usually on the same day, and ranged from deliciously simple sourdough (with the Chef’s own sourdough culture) to German rye, red beet bread or seaweed sourdough. It was tough to stop oneself from filling up on freshly baked bread! The plated dishes following the bread were incredible - beautifully presented, thoughtfully put together and prepared with a high degree of technical skill. We often had interesting discussions with Chef Ross about the provenance of a particular ingredient or why two seemingly disparate tastes were perfectly paired together. The dishes ranged from simple but perfectly executed fish dishes (several local varieties we had not encountered before) to complex culinary adventures (think deconstructed tomato and mozzarella). I have posted a few pictures here (couldn’t help myself but take them before eating!). Each evening felt like a culinary Michelin star experience, but in an intimate, comfortable and convivial environment. These experiences - sharing great food with friends prepared by someone who really cares and with great skill - were a real highlight of our trip. I can only recommend Chef Ross and his team to anyone looking for what I described above and I hope Private Chef Mallorca continues to receive the recognition it deserves!

Had the pleasure of dining on Chef Ross’ cuisine for 2 weeks on my last visit to Mallorca. I’d have to say it was one of the highlights of a fantastic trip. All of his dishes were five star. Two nights were prepared and served by Chef Andy and a few nights were supported by Chef Natalie. And they were fantastic as well. The standout food: sourdough bread and the corresponding butters, every dessert (especially the cheesecake), the slow cooked egg over this amazing celeriac pudding (?), and a salt crusted celeriac. I’m a vegetarian and they had no problem serving me compelling and delicious meals that fit in with my carnivore peers. Also they were all such delightful and positive people. Good company and conversation with a serious dedication to food.

We had the pleasure of having Chef Ross and Private Chef Mallorca treat us to dinners and breakfasts while we were visiting Mallorca. Every night was a culinary delight! All of the ingredients were of the highest and freshest quality and each meal was thoughtfully and perfectly planned and executed. We cannot recommend Private Chef Mallorca enough!

I booked Privatechef for 3 dinners during stay of my family in Mallorka last August. The first one was 3 course menu on our arrival. We got acquainted with Ross, he arrived couple of hours prior to the fixed time, decorated the table with flowers and served the dinner. Two others were 4 & 5 courses meals on special occasions - birthdays of family members. As agreed in advance the Chef cooked 2 different birthday cakes which were light (as requested) and delicious. All my family members (which are from 2,5 to 60 years old) loved every dish which were cooked as well as presented very professionally. lots of different ingredients, sometimes very special makes the food looks very good and taste really delicious. I do recommend to try Privatechef service and believe you will not be disappointed. Dmitry

Excellent food, great people

We had Ross cook for a family birthday dinner at our villa and it was fantastic! He got on with preparations and transforming our dining area with candles and flowers while we got the children in bed and then we settled in for fabulous food - inventive twists on local dishes that would have been at home in any michelin starred restaurant. And presented with such enthusiasm - we had a great time. Thanks Ross!
