She also guided me through the bureaucratic process of obtaining my NIE, Padron and Spanish residency. I can’t say enough good things about the fantastic assistance I received from Christa at moving2valencia. Of course, assisting me to take care of things like opening a bank account and get my TIE card were a big help. You can't go wrong with Christa. She takes you personally and doesn't leave anything to chance. I just moved to Valencia from another continent. I don't speak Spanish (yet), and unfortunately English is not widely common here. Christa helped me with everything, and I mean everything: Finding a house, communicating with the realtor and landlord, opening a bank account, health insurance, local red tape, etc. She's a true professional and I wouldn't want to imagine doing all this without her help. Our family moved to Valencia six months ago and we're extremely satisfied with the services Moving2Valencia provided! I moved to Valencia for work, so I needed to find a long-term rental apartment. I don't speak Spanish and I have no idea about the rental laws here, so I needed help. I highly recommend Christa if you are moving to Valencia. She is very professional and friendly. She made all the necessary calls and follow up calls to get us apartment viewings. She took us around to see different places and found us the perfect place! She has many contacts that can help you with banking, utilities and other things you might need being new to a city and she is always quick to respond. I'm so thankful that we found her.

Every move to a foreign country involves a lot of paperwork, bureaucracy, financial and healthcare stuff and can be quite a headache. We have done this multiple times in english speaking countries, however moving to Spain without speaking the language is a whole other deal. MOVE TO VALENCIA WITH CHRISTA! Simply put, Christa has been an absolute lifesaver with our move to Valencia and our transition to Spanish life. We interviewed other relocation companies, but Moving2Valencia was superior in every category (Spanish and Valencian law, immigration procedures, local housing markets, healthcare options, etc.). Most importantly, Christa was quickly accessible via messaging and phone, friendly, knowledgeable, easy to work with and highly professional. We contracted Moving2Valencia for the Relocation Package, which helped us with navigating the labyrinth of paperwork, documents and forms that needed to be completed prior to the move. Also, we were educated regarding the procedures necessary to obtain our residencies in Spain. The Relocation Package was essential to help us find a place to live. Apartment hunting is no easy feat in Valencia, but thanks to Christa, we found the perfect apartment in 2 weeks (despite having lots of requirements, including 2 dogs). During the contract negotiations, translation and signing, she discovered several discrepancies in the contract that would have cost us a lot of money and time had she not found them. She clearly is an expert in this field and I can't imagine the headaches it would have caused had we tried to do any of this ourselves. Other expats we've met have had nightmarish experiences navigating these types of negotiations, but it couldn't have gone smoother because of Christa. As part of the relocation package, we also received assistance (in person) with setting up bank accounts, wifi, cell phones, utilities, etc. The day we moved in, Christa was at our apartment making notes, calling people, taking pictures and video for our punch list and showing us how to use Spanish appliances (which is not as intuitive as one would guess). Despite our landlord's initial refusal to fix things, Christa was unrelenting in making sure everything in our apartment was to our satisfaction and in perfect working order. Three months after our move, our landlord tried again to take advantage of us, but Christa came after him like a bulldog! I can't imagine how difficult / impossible dealing with this landlord would have been without Christa by our side. From the moment we met her, we knew she was working solely for our best interest. There are also many intangible items M2V provided, such as information about the closest English speaking hospitals, veterinarians, grocery stores, housekeepers, speciality stores, language schools, pharmacies, transportation, health clinics, etc. These items are extremely important to know, but sometimes take a backseat when one is overwhelmed with the necessities of moving to a new country. It once again shows the expertise of a company that understands exactly what new expats need. We are currently in the process of applying for our Spanish residencies and, based on our great experience with the relocation package, have contracted M2V's services once again. When you think, I just need a phone and utilities done, you really don’t know how difficult each one of these can be. It most certainly wasn’t what I was expecting. Thank goodness Christa was by my side as I sat there many times with a blank stare of confusion on my face, She swooped in, translated, asked the appropriate questions, obtained the required documents and explained every step so I knew what was going on. She knows the really crazy and foreign rules and laws that you would never know existed and most certainly wouldn’t have a clue about. Cannot recommend Christa highly enough! Navigating the Spanish bureaucracy is no small feat, even if you speak the language, which we didn't, so we are very lucky to have found Christa. She helped us with finding an apartment, she even went through the contract with us and made sure it's fair and there's nothing disadvantegeous in it for us. She also helped us with getting our papers, and there are a lot of them, I couldn't even tell you what papers there are, but we have them now thanks to Christa. She also helped with registering our car in Spain, so pretty much with everything.
