Wiseguys Removals

I am shocked as just discovered through reading the latest reviews on Wiseguys, to learn they have ceased trading??? Andy Topham has not even had the decency to let us know, as well as not responding to any emails, WhatsApp messages etc. seemingly we all have been ignored looking at the comments. Patricia Gess I can’t find you on FB or messenger, Nick Fagan, Jan Brown and Paul Ingrouille would be good if we can all link up to discuss what measures people are going to recover their money. We are owed for import duties, VAT and compensation for damaged furniture and goods. Wiseguys are certainly living up to their name!

Anyone know whether Andy Topham is a tax resident of Spain or UK please? Anyone had their money back? Anyone heard from Andy Topham? Nick Fagan, do you have messenger? There are some people using a solicitor, but I don't know how to contact you. Has anyone received their deposit back from Wise Guys after they suddenly ceased trading? Waiting for ours, but Andy Topham doesn't respond to requests. If anyone sees this who have not got their money back, please pm me on facebook.

Not possible to contact nobody answering phone

Got a text message from Wiseguys to say that they had ceased trading 2 days before they were due to collect our stuff. No response from Andy Topham or anyone else at Wiseguys when we try to call, no mention yet of when we will get our deposit back. Patricia I would contact you but I’m not on Facebook, is there another way ?

Today we were expecting to see Andy and the team to commence our move removals to Spain as our house sale completes on 15 Dec 22. He told us this morning (12 Dec) he will not be progressing which as you can imagine puts us in a very difficult and challenging place. We feel let down, disgusted and very angry with Andy and this company that they can do this and not even attempt to offer a solution at this late stage. We have paid a lot of money back in Sep 22 for this service and will be taking legal advice and action to recover the money and costs that we now incur as a result of a breach of contract. What is unforgivable is the complete lack of response to the many calls, emails and messages we have made to update us on our move. Andy knew our completion date and the position he would put us in. I would absolutely not recommend this company for any removals.

Really pleased with the service from Andy and his team, moving our stuff from Devon to Almería. It's great to see it all here, and all in perfect condition.

Andy, I have emailed you and called you to no avail. You have £13k of our money. Our furniture is being detained in Cambridge because you will not pay your subcontractors fee’s. You have not fulfilled your contract, and we will proceed with legal action against you. I have been reasonable with you.

Andy and the team did not have it easy with our large move from the UK to Spain but they made it work. A few hiccups on the way but I would have no hesitation calling Andy again for any future move! Cheers Andy and team!

Initially helpful but then subcontracted our removal out without informing us. We were left in an empty remote house with nothing as our furniture arrived 16 days later than agreed. Wiseguys refused to respond to email, phone, WhatsApp and they have still not been in touch. It made what should have been an exciting new start in life into an extremely stressfull and expensive time. I would not recommend.

Good removals BUT difficult to get hold of. Follow up communication is poor.

Found Andy from Wise Guys on Twitter and so pleased I did! He was super helpful, provided clear and accurate information about paperwork for our post Brexit shipment from U.K. to Spain and the price was competitive. Easy to get a date booked in, smooth collection and delivery. The guys who unloaded for us were great & very accommodating. If you want someone who has done the work to prepare for post Brexit shipments I would recommend Wise Guys.

Andy was great. Very knowledgeable and moved us in a period after Brexit, over to Spain, which had its complication. But we got over them. Its was a large move, five-bedroom house, with lots of GYM equipment too. Took great care of our items and his team were great. I will be recommending Wiseguys Removals to friends plus to-you if you are thinking of hiring them.

I just used Andy and his team to move ,my household effects from West Yorkshire Wngland to Guardamar Spain. It was a truly professionally executed job from beginning to end. The guys turned up on time packed my effects and loaded without any problems. They kept me advised of delivery time in Spain. In fact turned up a day early! Everything was unloaded into the house, once unpacked i found no breakages or damage. The guys were pleasant polite and helpful. I can't thank them enough for a great job well done and would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone. Thanks guys for a great job.

Having previously experienced a less than satisfactory service from another overseas removal company, the service provided by Andy and his team was a breath of fresh air, absolutely fantastic. Wiseguys Removals moved items from Poole to our house in a small village in Spain, Aigues in the Costa Blanca. Their service was superb. They turned up in Poole on the day on time and were very obliging. They phoned me on our arrival in Spain and said they would deliver my items at 11am next day. They arrived at exactly 11am ! My only regret is that I didn't send more of our possessions with them ! The service was value for money and excellent and I can recommend them !
